Placing an Order

Our website updates to show which items are out of stock, and our inventory control system will stop you buying an item that has become out of stock in the short time period between website updates. So you can place an order with every confidence that you will not be disappointed.

In a very small number of cases, due to an inventory error within the system an order might be placed for an item that proves to be out of stock. In such circumstances we make a full and immediate refund of your entire payment to us. 

We accept all major credit cards, Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. We are unable to accept bank transfers or cheques, although we can take payment over the telephone if you wish.

You do not need to create an account to place an order, simply choose not to create an account and check out as a guest.

Once you place an order you will immediately receive an
email confirming that the order has been made.

The next email you receive will be a despatch notification
which will contain your Royal Mail tracking information, this indicates that
your order has left us and is on its way.

On the morning of your intended delivery you will receive a
text / email notification from Royal Mail (or DHL where appropriate).

A counter on each product page displays the cut off time before which your order must be placed for it to be shipped on the same day as the cut off time.

Tracking information will be included with your despatch notification email.

Remember working days don't include Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays) It may be the case that the order has been slightly delayed. Please check that no attempted delivery card has been left. If nothing arrives after five working days, please CONTACT US and we will investigate the issue.

A faulty item can then be returned to us for a full refund, or be exchanged for another item.

At this time we do not have a shop premises or offer a Click & Collect Service.

Changing or Cancelling an Order.

If you wish to make a change to an order, please CONTACT US immediately. If notification of the change is received before an order has been sent we will be able to comply with your request, if the necessary stock is available.

If you wish to cancel an order, please CONTACT US immediately. If notification of cancellation is received before an order has been sent we will immediately send a full refund including all your postage costs. If an order has been sent out you will need to return it to us unused, with all labels attached and in its original packaging - within 90 days of receipt. Please zip up, button up, and fold the item carefully, so it is returned in the condition you received it.

Returns - Exchanges and Refunds

In order to guarantee your satisfaction with our products and service, you may return any unsuitable items for exchange or refund within 90 days of purchase. Returned items must be unworn and in a resalable condition, with all labels attached and appropriate packaging included.

Yes, of course you can and free of charge too! At Holland's we believe you should be completely happy with your purchase. If this is not the case, for whatever reason, you can return an item under our 90 day 'No Worries' return policy. All that we ask is that you return the item - unused, with all labels attached and in its original packaging - within 90 days of receipt. International customers can return items for refunds, but are liable for the return shipping costs.

Yes, we also offer exchanges. We will exchange your item as you wish, as long as we have the new item in stock (if it is out of stock, we will offer a refund or provide a second choice). Please return the exchange item - unused, with all labels attached and in its original packaging - within 90 days of receipt. The return postage is free on all UK orders.

Where an international customer wishes to exchange an item they must return the original order for a refund and place a new order for the required item.

When we say waterproof, we mean waterproof, not showerproof, or weatherproof, or something else. Waterproof means waterproof, which means you can go out in the rain and not get wet.

Windproof - protects against wind penetration
Windproof

When we say windproof, we mean.... Okay, I think you get the idea. But, seriously wind chill is not funny, stopping wind penetration will mean you stay a lot warmer than you would in a shorter coat.

Breathable fabric allow water vapour and perspiration to leave your garment
Breathable

Waterproof fabrics are great, but breathable ones are better. Breathable fabrics allow sweat in the form of water vapour to escape from the inside of the fabric to the outside, which is great if you plan to spend a long time in your coat or like to walk fast.
